Setting up the Google Books preview section
An item's detail display can include an accordion section that displays previews from Google Books when a preview is available.

You can change the name that appears on the accordion in Language Files (for information about finding and changing text strings, see Managing language files); however, Google limits the titles you can use to just a few. Before your library uses this option, make sure you review the conditions and naming guidelines that Google has set. For more information, see http://code.google.com/apis/books/branding.html#naming. The Google Books viewer includes a toolbar that displays links to Google Books and various book vendors. This toolbar cannot be removed or hidden. |
To set up the Google Books preview
- From the Admin console choose Profiles.
- For the profile you want to work with, choose Edit Profile.
- Make sure there is a check in the box of the Display Google Books preview option in the "Enriched Content Options" group (see Fields: Add/Edit/Copy Profile).
